It’s not easy being a goalkeeper, but Aaron McCarey of Glentoran did himself no favours with an absolute howler on Saturday.
With his side already 2-0 down at home to Crusaders in the Northern Ireland Premiership, McCarey let a harmless looking header by centre-back Daniel Larmour pass through his legs and into the net at The Oval.
In his defence, it does seem like a team-mate is about to clear the ball.
But that critical breakdown in communication ultimately left the stopper with egg on his face as the Glens went on to lose 4-0.
Former Wolves player McCarey won’t want to see this again, but we can’t help ourselves!
