On January 6th, the Feast of the Epiphany, Roma will play at the Via del Mare against Lecce.
The Giallorossi will be away to the Salento side for the 19th matchday of Serie A, the final match of the first half of the season.
Gian Piero Gasperini’s squad list does not include Pierluigi Gollini.
The goalkeeper, who arrived in the capital last January, suffered an issue in the final training session before leaving for Lecce.
The former Genoa, Atalanta, and Napoli player has suffered a muscle tear in his right thigh.
Roma will be without Gollini at the Via del Mare. The third goalkeeper, behind Mile Svilar and Devis Vasquez, will be Primavera youth player Radoslaw Zelezny. The 1995-born player isn’t the only absentee.
In addition to those involved in the Africa Cup of Nations and those suspended, Gasperini will also be without three other injured players: Tommaso Baldanzi, Leon Bailey, and Lorenzo Pellegrini. The Jamaican has returned to individual training.
