Gonçalo Ramos has become Ruben Amorim’s first Milan signing after the club confirmed the former Benfica striker on a contract running to 2031. He will also link up with Rafael Leão.
Milan did not disclose the fee. Gazzetta dello Sport reports the deal is worth 70 million euros including bonuses, which would make Ramos the most expensive signing in the club’s history.
Benfica, as his training club, will receive nearly three million euros, precisely two point nine eight million, via FIFA’s solidarity mechanism.
The Portugal international, 25, is set to earn four million euros net per year, similar to his salary in Paris. He now prepares for his first season in Serie A.
Ramos represented Benfica from 2013/14 to 2022/23, completing almost all of his development before stepping up to the senior side. In summer 2023 he joined Paris Saint-Germain in a move that brought 65 million euros to Benfica.
