We are just hours away from a new chapter in El Clásico de México, in which Guadalajara wants to deliver a solid performance through good soccer, team unity, and the courage that is needed. The moment requires total concentration and the best individual performance from all members of the Rojiblanco squad, including Santiago Sandoval, the Chivas youth player who has raised his hand in the 2025 Apertura.

"I know the results may not show it, but we will arrive strong and very united, we all understand each other on and off the field. I am confident that we will win this game, I am not going to predict a score, but the result will be positive for us and from then on," said the 17-year-old left-footed player.

Sandoval made his debut in the top flight against León on matchday 2 of the current tournament, and from his first minutes on the pitch, he made it clear why Gabriel Milito had placed his trust in him, as he wasted no time in displaying his range of footballing skills, which he hopes to show against the archrival. In fact, the youth player already knows what these types of matches mean, as he has already faced the capital's team in categories such as the U-14 and U-19, and even scored against the U-19 Azulcremas in the 2025 Clausura.

"I've felt great game after game; all my teammates support me and give me confidence in every match, and that always helps. We know we have the backing of all the fans. Chivas is everywhere, and their support is going to help us a lot."

Speaking about this Saturday's El Clásico de México, Santiago Sandoval spoke to the cameras and microphones of Chivas TV and did not hesitate to express his excitement about playing in a match of this kind, as well as highlighting the unity that exists within the team ahead of this clash.
