Barcelona will lock horns with Sevilla at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium on Saturday night as they hope to secure a positive result on the road in La Liga. The Catalan club managed to earn a dominant 7-2 win over Racing Santander recently, so they would go into this game full of confidence about earning another win this weekend.

Hansi Flick will set his men up in a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to make a handful of changes to his first team for this game. Anthony Gordon, Xavi Espart and Pau Cubarsi could all play from the start of this contest.

Defence

Wojciech Szczesny will function in between the sticks for the Catalan club as he looks to keep a clean sheet away from home. Pau Cubarsi will play alongside Gerard Martin at the centre of the Barcelona backline as they look to keep the Sevilla attackers frustrated throughout the game.

Eric Garcia will try to prove his worth as the right-back, while Xavi Espart hopes to impress on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them will get the freedom to go forward and express themselves inside the opponent’s half.

Andreas Christensen will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Flick will opt for a midfield three of Fermin Lopez, Rodri and Pedri for this game. Their main job would be to dictate the tempo of the game at the centre of the park and engineer some decent chances for their teammates to score.

Gavi and Marc Bernal will be named on the bench as they await their chance to influence the game in the second 45 minutes if required.

Attack

Anthony Gordon will try to make a difference on the left flank, while Lamine Yamal looks to weave his magic as the right-sided wide player. Both of them will try to get in behind the opponent’s backline at every chance they can get.
