Gordon Strachan believes Harry Wilson could give Leeds United a regular goal threat, with the Fulham winger out of contract after a standout season.

"Harry Wilson to Leeds United? There are 10 goals a season in there," he said. "I think he'd be a great signing. He can score 10 goals a season in the Premier League and he's free, that's definitely something to be looked at. Absolutely." Wales Online carried the interview.

Leeds pursued Wilson on deadline day last summer but the move collapsed late. He then produced 10 goals and 7 assists in 36 Premier League games in 2025/26, which could yet be his last at Craven Cottage. The Welshman is out of contract this summer and Fulham have offered fresh terms this week.

Leeds were the only known side pushing for him at the end of last summer, but competition is set to be far stronger now. A price tag of up to £10m has been reduced to nothing and the 29-year-old enters this window after his most productive top-flight season.

Wilson previously hit double figures at Derby County and in his first Fulham season in the Championship. Across three earlier Premier League campaigns at Craven Cottage he scored 12 and supplied 10 assists. Leeds are expected to target attacking difference-makers this summer, including a right-sided or No 10 profile.
