BURNABY, Canada – The 2025/26 Concacaf W Champions Cup continued with Gotham FC earning a 4-1 victory against Vancouver Rise FC Academy in Group B on Tuesday at Swangard Stadium in Burnaby, Vancouver, Canada.

Josefine Hasbo opened the scoring in the 9’ to place Gotham FC up, sending a header past Vancouver goalkeeper Jessica Wulf.

Katie Stengel scored the second goal of the evening for the NWSL side in the 12’, striking inside the box to connect on a service from Lilly Reale.

Vancouver Rise FC Academy scored its first goal of the campaign in the 14’, as Anna Bout placed the finishing touch to capitalize on a rebound from an attempt by Anaïs Oularbi that bounced off the right post.

Esther González made an instant impact off the bench to double Gotham FC’s lead in the 47’ with a long left-footed shot from the upper side of the box.

Bruninha closed scoring in the 90’+3’ to deliver the fourth goal for the defending champions.

Gotham FC improved to nine points as first place in Group B. The reigning champions travel to fellow NWSL side Washington Spirit on October 1.

Vancouver Rise FC Academy's next Group Stage match will be against four-time Liga MX Femenil winners CF Monterrey on October 2 in Mexico.
