Milestones and Records Week 3

NY Gotham FC earned its fifth straight win, the longest winning streak by any club in W Champions Cup history. The team is also unbeaten in 9 matches (7W–2D), and the 7 victories are the most by any club in the competition's history.

Josie Hasbo scored her first-ever goal in the tournament, also marking Gotham's second headed goal of the season.

Katie Stengel netted her second goal of the tournament and her first from the penalty spot. It was Gotham’s third penalty goal in the competition’s history.

Esther González scored her fourth tournament goal, becoming NY Gotham FC’s all-time top scorer in the W Champions Cup, surpassing Yazmeen Ryan and Lynn Biyendolo (3 goals each).

Ryan Campbell finally made her tournament debut after five matches across two editions. At 23 years, 5 months, and 29 days, she is the youngest goalkeeper to wait that long to debut in the competition.

Esther González also recorded the second-fastest goal in a second half (1:01), trailing only Jenna Nighswonger’s strike at 0:53 against Frazsiers Whip on October 2, 2024.

González became the player who needed the least amount of time to score after coming on as a substitute (61 seconds), breaking the previous record held by Amirah Ali (75 seconds for Rise Academy vs. San Diego Wave on October 1, 2024).

Bruna Santos Nhaia scored her second goal of the competition, which became the second-latest goal in NY Gotham FC history (92:04), behind only Kayla Duran’s 93:41 against Alajuelense on September 2, 2025.
