Gourlay has five days to fix Valencia’s attack | OneFootball

With five days left in the window, Valencia’s priority is up front as Ron Gourlay races to repair an attack that has misfired.

AS reports that Gourlay has around 120 hours, until Tuesday at 00:00, to reshape the frontline. After 180 minutes, they have 0 goals and fashioned few chances against Celta and Betis, pushing Carlos Corberán to seek solutions.

Of seven summer signings, Van Oevelen, Arnau, Maffeo, De Haas, Dieng, Guido and Sato, only the Japanese forward has bolstered the attack. Ideally, Corberán and Gourlay would add at least two attackers in the coming days.

Any arrivals hinge on departures, with André Silva, Danjuma and Raba closest to the exit. Valencia have contacted Largie Ramazani and Leeds have opened the door, yet without sales there will be no arrivals. Even if Ramazani were secured, Corberán would still want another attacking option.
