Leeds United edged another point towards safety after a 0-0 draw with Brentford at Elland Road, a contest short on chances.
According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, neither side ever looked likely to take all three points in a game of patchy attacking play.
Defences dominated the first half. Dominic Calvert-Lewin beat Caoimhín Kelleher to a looping cross but the danger was cleared, while Igor Thiago scuffed a half-chance after troubling Jaka Bijol.
The pattern barely shifted after the break, with both teams enjoying brief spells without carving out a clear opening. Farke introduced attacking reinforcements, including Noah Okafor and Ao Tanaka, but a late push yielded no breakthrough.
Player ratings reflected the stalemate, with one seven out of 10 and a raft of sixes and fives. Karl Darlow earned the top mark, solid when called upon and tidy with his distribution at times, though some kicks were rushed.
Joe Rodon was physical and looked to carry the ball, Jaka Bijol won headers but could not create enough chaos in the opposition box. Pascal Struijk had a shaky first half before improving, Jayden Bogle lacked composure in attack, and Ethan Ampadu sent a fine long pass for a Bogle half-chance then pressed with urgency.
