Granada welcome Castellón on Sunday with Baila Diallo back from injury, while the visitors travel without suspended left-back Lucas Alcázar. Brian Cipenga has rejoined Pablo Hernández’s squad after finishing his Africa Cup of Nations involvement.

The match at Nuevo Los Cármenes kicks off at 16:15. According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, Alcázar’s dismissal in the win at SkyFi Castalia against Huesca makes him the only confirmed absentee for Castellón.

For Granada, French full-back Diallo has overcome the muscle issue that sidelined him for two games and will be available. He developed the problem after the Christmas break and missed the league match against Almería last weekend and Tuesday’s Copa tie with Rayo Vallecano.

Diallo has trained normally with the group in recent days. Pacheta remains without goalkeeper Luca Zidane, who is with Algeria at the Africa Cup of Nations, midfielder Martin Hongla, injured and finalising a move to Aris in Greece, and full-back Pau Casadesús, also injured.

Midfielder Rubén Alcaraz is suspended for accumulation of bookings. Winger Suleymane Faye is a doubt as Granada and Sporting de Portugal have been working to finalise his transfer in recent days.
