Green Brigade defy Celtic ban with clear message for Chief Exec | OneFootball

The Green Brigade appear to have defied the Celtic stadium ban and come out to spoilt the team. The GB have been one of the most vocal groups against the Celtic Board and claim that they have suffered from collective punishment due to an issue in the concourse during the Falkirk game earlier this season.

Interim Chairman Brian Wilson called for unity during the week with Martin O’Neill offering to broker peace between parties. However, it was confirmed last night that there had been no olive branch by the club to the GB nor the Celtic Collective.

Stationed at the corner of the Jock Stein Stand and Main Stand, the groups called for Celtic CEO Michael Nicholson to own his failings and resign.

Nicholson appointed Paul Tisdale, who pushed the disastrous appointment of Nancy and despite the pair having been emptied during the week, Nicholson remains. Accountability is required but the team and support will be eager for parties to reconcile in order to assist with a push towards the title.

If Celtic can meet with the support, improve dialogue and help mend fences the it is expected that any collective action would be canned. Hopefully, this can be achieved as we need everyone pulling in one direction to be successful in the second half of the season.
