Grêmio in talks to sign Racing midfielder Juan Ignacio Nardoni

Grêmio are pursuing Racing midfielder Juan Ignacio Nardoni, 23, who is a regular under Gustavo Costas.

According to Argentine media, the Tricolor have lodged an opening bid that was rejected, and the club are weighing a second approach.

Nardoni has started both of Racing’s matches in 2026, defeats to Gimnasia and Rosario Central.

Grêmio are targeting a number 5-type midfielder and a creator, and Nardoni fits the first profile.

The deal will not be wrapped up in time for him to be registered for the Gauchão, with the deadline ending this Friday.

Racing signed Nardoni in 2023 for US$ 6 million, R$ 32.5 million at the time, including taxes and commissions.
