Grêmio lost 2-1 to Vasco at São Januário in the eighth round of the Brasileirão, with Pavon and Tetê rated worst on the night.

According to Globo.com, both forwards received 4.0. Goalkeeper Weverton was given 6.5 after a key first half save that kept the score down.

Pavón struggled defensively, often late and leaving spaces, and Balbuena made errors playing out that unsettled the back line. Gustavo Martins and Viery held their positions well, with Caio Paulista largely staying at home.

In midfield, Leonel Pérez was caught out and allowed David to finish for Vasco's second. Nardoni pressed Robert Renan in the move that led to Carlos Vinícius scoring. Willian kept it simple, and Arthur Melo offered for the ball but lacked influence higher up.

Tetê looked off the pace and was warned by Luís Castro within minutes. Enamorado dragged a good chance wide, while Braithwaite's only effort was saved. Amuzu and Gabriel Mec made little impact.

Luís Castro acknowledged the team were below par and made useful changes, but individual displays undermined the collective effort.
