Grêmio receive offer as Bragantino and others show interest in Ronald | OneFootball

Ronald is drawing interest and could soon leave Grêmio again after returning from a loan at Atlético-GO. According to Globo.com, Juventude have lodged an offer for the 22-year-old midfielder.

Bragantino have made an enquiry and could follow up with a bid. Atlético-GO signalled a desire to extend his loan, while rivals Goiás also made an attempt, and Sport have checked on his situation.

An academy product, Ronald is under contract until the end of 2027. Back at the club, he is viewed as a potential sale and an exit will not be obstructed. The new board intends to trim the wage bill and reduce squad numbers next season.

Grêmio allowed him to seek a move at the start of the year, though his loan to Atlético-GO materialised only in August. He made 12 appearances under Mano Menezes, the longest run of his career, and also filled in at right-back.

Ronald is awaiting the conclusion of his Polish citizenship process by the end of this year, which would open the door to a move there as he would not count as a foreign player. He has received an offer from Górnik Zabrze, a club in Poland’s top flight.
