MIAMI – Round One of the 2026 Concacaf Women’s U-17 Qualifiers continues with the second set of matches in Groups A, B, and F on Monday.

U.S. Virgin Islands vs. Dominican Republic

The U.S. Virgin Islands meet the Dominican Republic in Group A at Estadio Miguel Chocorrón Buitrago in Managua, Nicaragua. The occasion marks the first matchup between the nations in Concacaf Women’s U-17 Qualifiers.

The U.S.V.I. will get its campaign underway with its 14th encounter against a Caribbean national team in Round One, holding a record of one win, one draw, and 11 defeats. 

The Dominican Republic will aim for another positive result after opening with a 7-nil victory over Dominica. Las Quisqueyanas were led to victory by four different scorers, with Caelyn Jiménez, Giocarla Durán, and Jabes Martínez recording braces. 

Dominica vs. Nicaragua 

Group A hosts Nicaragua takes on Dominica at Estadio Miguel Chocorrón Buitrago in Managua, Nicaragua. 

Dominica will look to bounce back after falling to the Dominican Republic. The occasion marks the first time Dominica faces a Central American opponent in Concacaf Women’s U-17 Qualifiers.  

Nicaragua will strive for another victory after its 6-nil win against Belize. Stefany Miranda had a standout performance with four goals, while Maxie Teofilo and Marian Ruiz bagged the other goals.

Group B 

Suriname vs. Panama  

Suriname and Panama will face off in Group B at Bermuda National Sports Centre in Devonshire Parish, Bermuda.  

Suriname enters the match in search of a positive result after falling 7-nil against Bermuda. The meeting will be the first-ever for Suriname against a Central American opponent in the history of the Women’s U-17 Qualifiers.  

Panama will be in the hunt of another win to defend its group lead after defeating Bonaire, 8-nil. Six different scorers were on target for Las Canaleras: Cristabella Ríos (x2), Shaday Mow (x2), Gabriela Rodríguez, Alisson Samudio, Alexa Ortega, and Vera Batista.  

Bonaire vs. Bermuda 

The second match in Group B present Bonaire against hosts Bermuda at Bermuda National Sports Centre in Devonshire Parish, Bermuda.

Bonaire will aim to recover after its 8-nil loss against Panama. Bermuda, meanwhile, will look to build onto its 7-nil victory against Suriname in its Qualifiers opener. Milan Gibbons-Thomas starred with four goals in the win, while Evans Welch recorded a brace and Nadia Madeiros scored once. 

Group F 

Barbados vs. El Salvador  

Barbados meets El Salvador in Group F at Stadion Rignaal ‘Jean’ Francisca in Willemstad, Curaçao. 

Barbados will kick off its campaign with its second match against a Central American national team, following a 2-1 loss to Belize in the 2022 edition. 

El Salvador will get its campaign going with its second encounter against a Caribbean opponent in Round One. In its first such meeting, El Salvador earned a 6-0 victory against Trinidad and Tobago in the 2024 edition.
