Gruda a doubt for RB Leipzig trip to Bremen | OneFootball

RB Leipzig face a fitness wait on Brajan Gruda for Saturday’s trip to Werder Bremen. BuLi News reports that the 22-year-old sustained an ankle injury in the 3-0 opening win at Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Head coach Martin Demichelis said on Thursday they would see what is possible and that Gruda is carrying a knock.

Christopher Nkunku, who came off the bench against Gladbach after joining on loan from AC Milan, is an option if Gruda is unavailable. Demichelis noted Nkunku trained separately in Milan, is now back with the team and is ready to start, though he said they will see.
