Evann Guessand’s 90th-minute strike earned Crystal Palace a narrow 1-0 win over 10-man Wolves at Selhurst Park.
Wolves had the best chance of the first half when they were awarded a penalty in the 43rd minute, but Tolu Arokodare’s weak effort was comfortably saved by Dean Henderson.
The turning point came just after the hour mark as Ladislav Krejci was sent off, receiving two quick yellow cards to leave the visitors a man down.
Palace pushed forward with the numerical advantage but struggled to break through until the closing stages. The decisive moment arrived when Tyrick Mitchell delivered from the left and substitute Guessand fired home at the near post.
Henderson’s earlier saves and Wolves’ missed penalty proved crucial as Palace secured three valuable points, while the visitors were left to rue missed opportunities in their fight for survival.
