West Ham have confirmed that midfielder Guido Rodríguez has joined Valencia, bringing his 18-month spell in east London to an end.
The Argentina international made 32 appearances for the Hammers in all competitions, including 19 starts, but featured only eight times this season and failed to register a goal or an assist.
Valencia have announced the 31-year-old’s arrival on their official channels, with Rodríguez returning to La Liga after four seasons at Real Betis between 2020 and 2024.
Reports in Spain suggest the deal runs until the end of the season, with West Ham receiving a nominal fee, although the club have yet to confirm the exact terms.
In Spain, Rodríguez will work under former West Bromwich Albion manager Carlos Corberán, as the Argentine looks to earn regular game time in the hope of securing a place in Argentina’s World Cup squad this summer.
