Toulouse goalkeeper Guillaume Restes went off injured on 60 minutes at Metz on Sunday after a heavy collision with Bouna Sarr early in the second half.

The incident was reported by L'Équipe. It was the 21-year-old's 100th appearance for Toulouse at Saint-Symphorien in the 26th round of Ligue 1.

Before the interval he conceded twice in as many minutes, Nathan Mbala scoring on 30 minutes and Koffi Kouao on 31.

The collision occurred on 48 minutes at the edge of his area as he rushed out to challenge Sarr. He appeared to be suffering in his left leg, around the knee.

VAR checked for a possible red card for the former Marseille player, but none was issued to the Senegal international. Restes, head down, eventually made way for Norwegian Kjetil Haug.
