Newcastle United will welcome Burnley at St. James’ Park this Saturday as they look to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Magpies were held to a 2-2 draw by Tottenham Hotspur recently, so they would be eager to pick up all three points in the league this weekend.
Eddie Howe will opt for the 4-3-3 formation once again and could be inclined to make some changes to his first team for this game. Bruno Guimaraes, Fabian Schar and Anthony Gordon are all expected to play from the start of this clash.
Aaron Ramsdale will be named in goal for the Magpies after he conceded two goals in his last appearance. Malick Thiaw will resume his centre-back partnership with Fabian Schar as they look to keep the opposition at bay throughout the 90 minutes.
Tino Livramento will try to prove his worth as the right-back, while Dan Burn hopes to give a good account of himself on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will get the freedom to go forward and express themselves inside the opponent’s half.
Lewis Hall will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Joelinton, Sandro Tonali and Bruno Guimaraes will make up Newcastle‘s midfield as they focus on establishing their dominance over the opposition at the centre of the park and creating some decent chances in the final third.
Joe Willock and Lewis Miley will be named on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the second half if needed.
Anthony Gordon will look to put his pace to good use on the left flank, while Jacob Murphy hopes to impress on the right wing.
Nick Woltemade will lead the charge for the Tyneside club up top. He would be eager to put in a good performance for the Magpies this weekend after failing to score against Tottenham earlier this week.
Anthony Elanga will have to settle for a place on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the final quarter of the game if Newcastle are in need of a goal by then.
