Guinean François Kamano officially signs with FK Sochi

In a move that redirects his career to familiar shores, Guinean international winger François Kamano has chosen a new path with Russia's FK Sochi, concluding a period of speculation about his future.

Despite attracting significant interest from several Turkish clubs, as first reported by Africafoot in June, the 29-year-old has instead opted for a return to the Russian league, signing a one-season contract that will see him remain with the club until June 2026.

The left-sided attacker, who had been without a team since departing Saudi Arabia’s Damac, was officially unveiled by Sochi in a social media announcement on Friday, September 12.

The club took to its Instagram account to welcome the former Bordeaux standout, while Africafoot simultaneously provided exclusive insight into the final terms of the deal, marking the latest chapter in Kamano's well-traveled career.
