Gusto And Fofana Get 6.5 | Chelsea Players Rated In Dismal Loss Vs Everton

Chelsea faced off against Everton at the Hill Dickinson Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Blues made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 33rd minute when Beto found the back of the net. Liam Rosenior’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.
Beto scored again for the home team in the 62nd minute before Iliman Ndiaye put the match to bed when he scored in the 76th minute. The contest finished with the Blues suffering a dismal 3-0 loss away from home.
Let’s take a look at how each Chelsea player fared during the clash against the Toffees.
He made a few solid saves during the game but conceded three goals this evening.

Gusto didn’t do much wrong defensively in the first half and was replaced at half-time.
CB: Wesley Fofana – 6.5/10
He put his foot through the ball when he could and was a strong presence in the air.
CB: Jorrel Hato – 6/10
Hato did his fair share of defending, but it was not enough today.

LB: Marc Cucurella – 6/10
He earned the ball back twice and made one good chance going forward.
CM: Romeo Lavia – 6/10
Lavia caught the eye at times but failed to get a foothold in the game.
CM: Moises Caicedo – 6/10
He got stuck in with some solid tackles and was tidy with his passing.
RW: Cole Palmer – 6/10
Palmer struggled to impress on the right flank and was fortunate to last the whole game.
CAM: Enzo Fernandez – 6.5/10
He caused a few headaches for the Everton defenders but didn’t do enough to register a goal.
LW: Pedro Neto – 6/10
Neto made two good runs with the ball but has got nothing to show for his efforts.
ST: Joao Pedro – 6/10
He made one key chance in the final third and was replaced in the 77th minute.

His impact on the game was minimal.

He failed to get into the flow of the game.
