NORTH SOUND, Antigua and Barbuda – The 2025/26 Concacaf W Qualifiers continued with Guyana earning a 4-nil victory over Antigua and Barbuda in Group B at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in North Sound, Antigua and Barbuda.

Guyana took the lead in the 15’ off an own goal by Antigua and Barbuda defender Karmiellia Hughes.

The visitors doubled their advantage in the 55’, when captain Brianne Desa unleashed a rocket from way outside the box.

Guyana extended its lead in the 67’ after Annalise Vincent converted from the penalty spot, following a handball in the box from Hughes. 

Vincent notched her second of the night in the 77’, as she took advantage of a deflection and fired it home for the final blow of the match.

The victory sees Guyana improve to six points, the same as first place Jamaica and second place Nicaragua, with a third place standing on tiebreakers.

The two nations will finish their participation in the W Qualifiers during the April Qualifying window. Guyana will face Jamaica in the final match of its campaign. Antigua and Barbuda matches up against Jamaica, before concluding against Dominica.
