The Manchester City striker started this season in blistering form with three goals in as many Premier League outings and has extended it on the international stage.

Haaland doubled Norway's lead in the opening 11 minutes of their latest World Cup qualifier with Moldova as they aimed to sit pretty atop Group I with a 100% record.

He soon claimed a further four goals in an historic 11 -1 demolition of their visitors and added to his own truly ridiculous record.

Remarkably, the 25-year-old has now scored in each of the last eight games for Ståle Solbakken's side while also plundering 21 in 14 prior appearances.

If that wasn't enough, he now averages more than a goal per game.

It's surely only a matter of time before Haaland begins laying siege to Cristiano Ronaldo's current record as international football's leading all-time scorer.
