Hamburg have agreed a deal to sign Martin Adeline, and their push to land Arsenal’s Fábio Vieira on a permanent basis remains active, according to Sky Germany.

The Bundesliga club will pay four million euros for the ESTAC Troyes attacking midfielder, who is set to sign a contract until 2030.

Early suggestions framed Adeline as a possible replacement for Vieira, but the transfer is viewed as separate, and Hamburg still aim to complete a permanent move for the Portuguese.

Talks with Arsenal have been ongoing for some time, although an agreement has not yet been reached.

Vieira has returned to Arsenal after a successful loan with Hamburg.
