Hamburg confirm long-term signing of Bilal Nadir from Marseille | OneFootball

Bilal Nadir, 22, has joined Hamburg SV on a long-term deal after leaving Marseille this summer.

The club said in a statement that the Franco-Moroccan midfielder arrived as a free agent and has signed on a long-term basis. It added that, despite his age, he already has significant experience, is ready for the next step and can improve their play immediately, with scope to progress further.

Nadir completed his medical successfully. Hamburg stayed in the Bundesliga, finishing 13th after promotion.

A Marseille academy graduate, he made 53 first-team appearances for OM from 2023.

The squad features several Francophone players in Jean-Luc Dompé, Rayan Philippe, Warmed Omari and fellow summer arrival Martin Adeline from Troyes. William Mikelbrencis departed at the end of June when his contract expired.
