Bild report that Hamburg are in talks with the entourage of Bayern Munich’s Daniel Peretz (24) to sign the Israeli goalkeeper as competition for Daniel Heuer Fernandes (32), but the Bundesliga returnees face competition from Genoa.
It’s the second time that Hamburg have shown interest in Peretz after being in contact with Bayern in May to discuss signing the 24-year-old on loan. But before they can make a move in the goalkeeping department, Bild note that HSV want to offload Matheo Raab, who wants to leave the club this summer, although no suitable offer has been submitted.
Interest in Peretz was also high, but PSV – who failed to reach an agreement on the purchase option with Bayern – are closing in on Bayer Leverkusen’s Matěj Kovář while Copenhagen are moving for PAOK stopper Dominik Kotarski.
After joining Bayern Munich from Maccabi Tel Aviv in 2023 for €5m, Peretz has played just seven games across all competitions which has seen his market value drop from €5m to €3m. Upon the signing of Jonas Urbig in January and Sven Ulreich’s expected contract extension, Peretz is currently Bayern’s fourth choice goalkeeper heading into the 2025/26 season.
