Hamburger SV and Arsenal ‘in talks’ over permanent Fabio Vieira move

Hamburger SV and Arsenal remain in direct contact over a permanent transfer for Fabio Vieira this summer.

According to Sky Germany, the clubs have exchanged concrete figures as discussions continue.

HSV are confident of retaining the midfielder.

HSV’s other signings are independent of any Vieira agreement, and the 26-year-old is hoping for a total agreement. He loves the club, the city and the coach, and a permanent move remains his preferred option.

Vieira has joined Arsenal’s pre-season training camp, but all parties are working towards finding a solution.

Last season he delivered 7 goals and 4 assists in 29 Bundesliga games for the Hanseatic club, helping them stay up.
