Hamburger SV confirm contract extension for Heuer Fernandes | OneFootball

Hamburger SV have extended the contract of Daniel Heuer Fernandes ahead of the 2026-27 season, with the length not disclosed. According to BuLi News, the Portuguese goalkeeper will remain with the club.

Heuer Fernandes, 33, joined HSV in the summer of 2019 and is set to begin his eighth campaign with the club.

Sporting director Claus Costa praised the keeper, known as Ferro, for a strong Bundesliga season and highlighted his role in securing top-flight status. He also underlined the player’s influence as a leader in the dressing room.

Costa added that Heuer Fernandes has progressed steadily, showing clear loyalty and becoming an icon for HSV. He said the extension leaves the goalkeeping group well positioned for the future.

Last season, Heuer Fernandes made 33 Bundesliga appearances, logging 2,970 minutes and recording six clean sheets.
