According to Sky Germany, Josha Vagnoman has agreed to a contract offer from Bundesliga side Stuttgart.
The Hamburg defender has agreed a deal in principle that will keep him at Stuttgart until 2026.
Negotiations between the two teams are ongoing. Hamburg are holding out for a transfer fee of €7m for the defender. However, Stuttgart believes the sum is too high for the player.
This may give other linked clubs such as Hoffenheim, Wolfsburg and other European teams the chance to move in for Vagnoman, who played just 671 minutes of 2. Bundesliga football last season due to injury.
Alternatively, the defender may have to wait for his chance in the top flight. He is still contractually bound to HSV so they don’t have to sell him if they feel the price is too low.
