Hossam Hassan may need to rethink his strategy against South Africa in the second matchday of Group B at the Africa Cup of Nations – AFCON 2025.

Indeed, both Mohamed Hamdi and Mostafa Mohamed, who picked up knocks against Zimbabwe (2-1), underwent medical tests on Wednesday night, and the results are far from reassuring.

According to MBC Masr journalist Ahmed Abd Elbaset, Mohamed Hamdi is suffering from bruising with a pelvic hematoma. As for Mostafa Mohamed, he has a bruised ankle.
