Hamed Junior Traoré was stretchered off in added time as Marseille lost 3-0 at Nantes on Saturday. The heavy defeat deepened the Olympians’ slide down the table.
According to L'Équipe, the Ivorian winger appeared to suffer an adductor problem after a right-foot shot from a tight angle, with no contact involved.
He departed in the fourth minute of added time, replaced by Ugo Lamare El-Kadmiri.
Starting on the left, Traoré had only just returned to the squad after missing matchday 31 against Nice, a 1-1 draw, through illness.
Regular fitness issues have dogged him since his arrival at the start of the season. He has played 19 games for OM, scoring three goals.
