Hammarby targets Georgi Minougou

Hammarby IF has joined the ranks of European clubs interested in Burkinabe international Georgi Minougou.

The Swedish club is eyeing the 23-year-old winger, who is currently under contract until 2028 with the Seattle Sounders in Major League Soccer (MLS).

According to Africa Foot, Hammarby IF has already inquired about Minougou’s contract situation and the terms of a possible transfer. The Stockholm-based club is expected to make and submit an offer to the Seattle Sounders in the coming hours.

Georgi Minougou has a market value of $800,000 according to the specialist site Transfer Market.

Hammarby IF is now added to the list of clubs enticed by the explosive profile of Minougou. During the winter transfer window, several French clubs expressed interest in the Seattle Sounders winger, and some Bundesliga sides are also closely monitoring him.
