Valencia have sealed their first summer departure, with Hamza Bellari joining CD Castellón in a deal worth around €150,000. The Moroccan winger will play in LaLiga Hypermotion.
According to Superdeporte, Valencia will also retain a sell-on percentage and performance-related bonuses. Bellari had been under contract until June 2027 and has already said his goodbyes to the club and fans.
Bellari returned to Paterna after a standout year at CD Eldense, where he was an important figure in their promotion. His loan was one of the few that delivered for Valencia last season.
Valencia had signed him from Nàstic de Tarragona for about €180,000 in summer 2024, and his progress since then underlined that investment. Carlos Corberán called him up for a league game against Girona in March 2025, but he did not make his debut.
His prospects at Mestalla had dimmed, as he was no longer under-23 and first-team opportunities looked remote. Eldense were not planning to seek another loan, so a permanent solution was required.
Castellón have moved for a young player with recent second-tier experience and clear room for growth. For Valencia, the move brings immediate income and potential upside through the agreed clauses, ending Bellari’s two-season spell at the club.
