Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has admitted that he has felt the absence of one member of the club’s sidelined contingent in a major way over recent weeks.
The player in question? Raphinha.
Wide-man Raphinha is for his part of course condemned to a spell on the treatment table at present.
This comes after the Brazilian suffered a hamstring injury en route to a Barcelona victory over newly-promoted Real Oviedo.
Initially, the hope was that Raphinha would be sidelined for just a few weeks.
His absence, though, has since proven to be a more extended one, after the former Leeds United man suffered a recent setback.
Raphinha is understood to be aiming to mark his comeback to the pitch this weekend, against Real Madrid.
As alluded to above, though, in the meantime, his absence has been sorely felt, not least by manager Hansi Flick.
“I miss Raphinha. He was very important last year,” the German admitted on Monday.
