Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick pulled two members of his squad aside for a tactical discussion during training in the buildup to the club’s next outing.
That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Pedri and Frenkie de Jong as the pair in question.
Barcelona are of course primed to return to action later this evening.
After clinching silverware by way of a Copa del Rey final victory over arch rivals Real Madrid at the weekend, the Blaugrana will shift attentions back towards matters on the continent.
A Champions League semi-final first-leg showdown with Serie A champions Inter Milan lies in wait.
And as alluded to above, boss Hansi Flick is evidently keen for every member of his squad to be as well prepared as possible for the clash.
As per Sport, ahead of expected starts for both against Inter:
‘The German coach had a talk with two of his untouchable players, Pedri and Frenkie de Jong.’
As much came to ensure that midfield pair Pedri and De Jong are aware of exactly what is expected of them on Wednesday evening, ahead of a highly-anticipated engine room battle in Catalunya’s capital.
