The October international break has arrived at an ideal time for FC Barcelona, providing the team with a much-needed pause for reflection after suffering back-to-back defeats.

According to a report from Mundo Deportivo, head coach Hansi Flick was quick to react following losses to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League and Sevilla in La Liga. Determined to spark an improvement, the German manager held talks with his players before taking a short personal leave.

Flick met with those called up for national team duty on Sunday and then spoke with the rest of the Barcelona squad on Monday at the Ciutat Esportiva. After these meetings, the coach began a brief personal holiday and is set to return next Monday.

As Flick noted in his post-match comments following the defeat to Sevilla, the congested schedule of seven matches in twenty-one days has taken a toll on the players both physically and mentally. He believes that the current break provides a valuable opportunity for the team to rest, reset, and regain their energy.

The manager wants his team to use this period to disconnect, recharge, and return in top condition for the next stretch of the season. Starting next week, Flick expects full focus and renewed determination from his players as they look to move past their recent struggles and return to winning ways.
