Happy birthday, Edon! | OneFootball

Edon Zhegrova is celebrating his first birthday with Juventus today, March 31, 2026, as he turns 27.

Born in Germany to Albanian parents who fled the war in Kosovo (the national team he now represents), Edon developed his football skills in Belgium, making his professional debut with Genk before moving to Basel and then to Lille. That is where he truly established himself, leading him to sign a contract with the Juventus Men’s First Team last summer.

In these first few months in Turin, Zhegrova has made a total of 21 appearances in black and white across the league, Champions League, and Italian Cup, coming on almost exclusively as a substitute as he works on his physical recovery following the long-term injury that kept him sidelined for months during the 2024/25 season.
