Cat-like reflexes, instinct and explosiveness, class and talent: during seven years between the posts for Inter, Julio Cesar played a key role in one of the most successful eras in the Club’s history, forging an unbreakable bond with the Nerazzurri colours.

After arriving in Milano in 2005, the former Brazil goalkeeper thrilled San Siro with spectacular saves, acrobatic dives and split-second interventions, earning him the nickname “The Dreamcatcher”. His extraordinary stops left a lasting impression, with some of them forever etched in the memories of Inter fans - including his save from Messi at Camp Nou in the Champions League semi-final and his penalty stop from Ronaldinho in the January 2010 derby, which Inter won 2-0.

It was a wonderful journey that saw him make 300 appearances and win 14 trophies: five Scudetti, three Coppa Italia titles, four Italian Super Cups, one Champions League and one Club World Cup. His talent and charisma earned him a place in the Inter Hall of Fame in 2020.
