A special day for Raffaele Di Gennaro, who celebrates his 33rd birthday today. An Inter fan since childhood, the goalkeeper took his first steps in football in the Nerazzurri colours, joining Inter’s youth academy and forging a special bond with the Club from a young age.
With the Primavera, he enjoyed an unforgettable 2011/12 season, winning the Primavera championship and the NextGen Series. After gaining experience with several teams in Italy, Di Gennaro returned to Inter in the summer of 2023, once again wearing the colours that had accompanied him throughout his development as a goalkeeper.
Since then, Raffaele has won four trophies with the First Team. In 2023/24, he celebrated the Scudetto della Seconda Stella and the Supercoppa Italiana, while in the 2025/26 season he contributed to Inter’s memorable Double, winning the Scudetto and Coppa Italia. Raffaele has made two appearances for the Nerazzurri, both against Hellas Verona, with a packed-out San Siro providing the backdrop to the Club’s last two Scudetto celebrations.
Born in Saronno on 3 October 1993, Raffaele turns 33 today and celebrates his fourth birthday as a Nerazzurro. Everyone at the Club and across the Inter family wishes him a very happy birthday!
