Bologna resumed preparations this morning ahead of Thursday’s Coppa Italia Round of 16 tie against Parma. Vincenzo Italiano’s squad were back on the pitch at 11:00 CET as the countdown to #BFCParma continues.

The session followed two different programmes: gym work for the players most involved in the match against Cremonese, while the remaining members of the squad completed athletic activation drills followed by a small-sided game on a reduced pitch.

Remo Freuler trained in the gym and then completed an individual session on the pitch, while Lukasz Skorupski continued treatment.

Defender Martin Vitik underwent medical tests that revealed a grade-one strain of the right adductor longus. His recovery time is estimated at around three weeks.

Tomorrow: Finishing Touches and Italiano’s Press Conference at 14:00

The team will carry out their final session tomorrow at 11:00 CET, on the eve of #BFCParma. Head coach Vincenzo Italiano will then speak to the media at 14:00 CET in the press room at the Niccolò Galli training centre.

Journalists wishing to attend must request accreditation via comunicazione@bolognafc.it and hold a valid press card.
