Apart from plotting signings for the first team, INEOS are also busy sorting out the futures of several Manchester United academy graduates who are currently out on loan.

Not all of them have enjoyed a perfect loan stint, with the club in the midst of recalling Sonny Aljofree and Elyh Harrison from their League Two loan spells.

There are discussions underway regarding Habeeb Ogunneye’s future as well, while Toby Collyer has been forced to cut short his Championship loan spell with West Bromwich Albion due to injury.

Radek Vitek is enjoying himself at Bristol City, prompting talks of a future role in the first team. And so is Harry Amass, despite Sheffield Wednesday’s financial problems.

Harry Amass is enjoying himself on loan

While The Owls continue to languish in bottom spot in the Championship, the left-back’s form has earned him the Player of the Month award.

As relayed by The Peoples Person, there are several promotion hopefuls eyeing the 18-year-old for the second half of the season.

The Carrington graduate’s loan arrangement contains a break clause, and Sheffield Wednesday were desperate to try and retain his services up till the end of the season.

There were murmurs United might even bring him back to Old Trafford, amid Ruben Amorim’s difficulties in finding the perfect left wingback .However, the head coach’s recent jibes have not had the desired effect.

As per The Sun, Harry Amass will not be coming back to The Theatre of Dreams, and instead, Sheffield Wednesday are confident they can keep the England U19 international at the Hillsborough Stadium despite interest from other clubs.

Sheffield Wednesday confident of keeping Harry Amass

“MANCHESTER UNITED are NOT planning to recall Harry Amass from his loan at Sheffield Wednesday.

“With Amass’ initial loan expiring in January, Wednesday are confident about keeping hold of the left-back until the end of the season after entering fresh talks.

“United have plenty of suitors interested in Amass’ services after a brilliant start to the season at Hillsborough.”

It is well known that the Red Devils are paying the fullback’s full wages owing to Sheffield Wednesday’s financial situation.

They could potentially trim their wage bill if they loan him out elsewhere. But his development takes precedence, and hence, Sheffield Wednesday’s confidence in retaining their loanee.
