Henrik Pedersen provided an update on Amass’ future following the 3-0 loss to QPR last weekend, which could be the player’s last game for the club.

According to journalist Andy Giddings, the youngster is in talks with Man United regarding a contract extension with the Premier League side.

The 18-year-old’s current deal is set to expire in the summer of 2027, meaning he is now into the last 18 months of his contract.

Pedersen has claimed that any decision over Amass’ future will likely have to wait until this is resolved, but that he is optimistic about the player returning to the Owls for the remainder of the Championship campaign.
