Harry Gray ‘to join’ Sheffield Wednesday on season-long loan

Leeds United forward Harry Gray is in the final stages of a season-long loan to Sheffield Wednesday, Sheffield Star reports.

Gray, 17, reached the fringes of the first team last year and debuted as a late substitute in April’s 6-0 win over Stoke City at Elland Road.

He then travelled to Germany with the senior squad for pre-season before the Premier League return, and later made the bench for the league trip to Wolves and the EFL Cup tie at Sheffield Wednesday.

To gain minutes, he joined Rotherham United on loan in January until season’s end, making 20 appearances with three goals and one assist in 1767 minutes.

The plan had been for another loan in 2026-27. Huddersfield Town were also keen, but the report said he will head to Hillsborough and link up with former Leeds captain Liam Cooper.
