Bayern Munich returned to winning ways yesterday, claiming an emphatic 4-0 away win over Heidenheim with Harry Kane putting the gloss on proceedings, bagging the final goal in 90+2.
The England international missed some big chances earlier but eventually netted to take his tally of goals in 2025 for club and country to 60.
He has registered 30 goals in 25 appearances this season.
Kane has now tallied 19 goals and three assists in the Bundesliga this season, taking him to 100 goal contributions (81G & 19A) in only 78 appearances, becoming the fastest player to do so.
He has surpassed the record previously held by Bayern legend Arjen Robben, who took 119 games to reach the 100-mark tally.
Interestingly, Kane also captained Bayern in the absence of Manuel Neuer and Joshua Kimmich, jumping ahead of the queue for the armband due to his leadership qualities.
Kane has continued to break record after record in Germany. Just weeks ago, he became the fastest player to reach 10 hat-tricks, achieving it after just 76 Bundesliga appearances.
It took the great Robert Lewandowski 324 games to tally that figure.
Kane looks set to spearhead Bayern to another Bundesliga crown, and Die Rekordmeister will have one eye on the UEFA Champions League title.
With the mercurial Englishman leading the line, they can claim that elusive seventh Champions League crown.
Elsewhere, England boss Thomas Tuchel will be hoping the 32-year-old can avoid any serious injuries and carry this form till the end of the season.
The Three Lions head to the 2026 World Cup at the end of the season as one of the favourites for the title, and Kane will be key to their chances of success.
He has been excellent under Tuchel, and the German tactician will be banking on the former Tottenham Hotspur star to fire England over the line.
