According to L'Équipe, Harry Kane has been awarded the 2025-26 European Golden Shoe after scoring 36 Bundesliga goals.

It is the second Golden Shoe of his career. He received the prize on Wednesday.

The England captain said this one felt even sweeter than the first, citing the team's treble of the Bundesliga, the German Cup and the Supercup as something special.

Beyond his league total he added 14 in the Champions League, 10 in the German Cup, one in the Supercup, and 12 for England, including six at the World Cup.

That took his haul to 73 for the season, close to Lionel Messi's 82 in 2011-2012. He follows Kylian Mbappé on the roll of honour, after the forward scored 31 in La Liga in 2024-2025.
