Harry Kane hits 150 goals to join Bayern's all-time greats | OneFootball

Harry Kane reached another milestone in Germany this weekend as he hit 150 goals for Bayern Munich.

The England striker has been lethal since joining up with the Bavarian side in the summer of 2023 and early into his fourth season at the club continues to reach new heights.

Kane set up Bayern's first away to newly-promoted SV Elversberg on Sunday before going on reach 150 goals for his club with a 72nd-minute winner after his side had been surprisingly pegged back at the hour mark.

It has take the former Tottenham Hotspur man just 153 games in all competitions with Bayern to reach that remarkable tally, all while also providing 34 assists to his teammates.

Vincent Kompany's team next host Union Berlin at home before the international break and should Kane score again as expected, he'll have hit 100 Bundesliga goals, having played what would be only his 98th game in the German top flight.

Since Kane joined Bayern after so many years with Spurs it's difficult for him to jump up the all-time scorers charts but he's already the seventh highest scorer in his club's history, just five goals behind Roland Wohlfarth – who played over double the amount of games.

Kanne's current contract ends next summer with talks ongoing; and while Bayern are complacent over Kane signing a new deal some other club legends may not be. The 33-year-old will eventually slow down but until he does the likes of Karl-Heinz Rummenigge (217 goals), Rainer Ohlhauser (29), and Thomas Müller (250) may all have to watch their backs.

Some strikers can have long careers and continue scoring as they push 40, just ask Robert Lewandowski – although the Pole's tally of 344 is most likely safe from Kane. Gerd Müller is Bayern's all-time top goalscorer with 565 goals which he scored in 607 games.  Obviously, Kane will never be able to come close to that but he does have one stat that puts him ahead of both Lewandowski and Müller. 

The Englishman has a better goals-to-game ratio (0.98 goals per game) than both Müller (0.93) and Lewandowski (0.92). Indeed, of those players who have played a significant number of games (we're talking 50+) no one comes close to that attacking trio with Mario Gómez and Luca Toni both averaging 0.65.

The goals just continue for Kane at Bayern and perhaps this time he'll even get a Ballon d'Or to show for it.
