Harry Kane has been included in Vincent Kompany's Bayern Munich squad for Tuesday's Champions League quarter-final first leg at the Bernabeu against Real Madrid, kick-off 21:00, after a recent ankle issue.
According to L'Équipe, the England striker injured an ankle during the international break and has returned to training. He was rested for the 3-2 win over Fribourg at the weekend.
Barring a late setback, he should be at least among the substitutes for this tie.
Kane has 47 goals in 39 matches this season and remains central to Bayern's attack, a major threat to a seasoned Madrid defence.
His fitness will be watched closely, so a starting place is not certain, though the signs in Munich are positive. Kompany can approach the tie with greater assurance, hoping to beat the hosts and extend Bayern's Champions League run.
