Five games, three competitions, five goals: Harry Kane continued his irresistible form in October – whether it was in the Bundesliga, where he netted in both the 3-0 win at Eintracht Frankfurt and the 2-1 victory against Borussia Dortmund, in the Champions League with a goal in the 4-0 win over Club Brugge, or in the DFB Cup, where his brace at Köln helped to come from 1-0 down and progress to the last 16 with a 4-1 success. That alone was enough to ensure that, after September, Kane is once again your FC Bayern Player of the Month in October!

The 32-year-old striker received nearly a quarter (23.9 percent) of the votes from supporters of the German record champions, leaving team-mates Lennart Karl (20.6%) and Konrad Laimer (19.4%) in second and third place. Kane has defended his title from September, when he was also number one in the fans’ eyes.

Luis Díaz top internationally

Interestingly, if you look at Bayern’s English and Spanish channels, Luis Díaz received the most votes there. However, that wasn’t enough overall to knock Kane off his throne. The numbers that Kane is producing on the field are simply staggering and justify the award. The England captain scored his 75th Bundesliga goal in his 73rd appearance at Union Berlin last weekend – no player has ever reached this mark nearly as quickly before. The previous record was held by the great Gerd Müller, who scored his 75th Bundesliga goal in his 108th appearance. Runner-up Karl can comfort himself with the fact that he won the Goal of the Month award.
